So today was a wildly productive day.
It started with Daddy working out while I pulled out the next size of clothes out for our son. It is hard to believe he is already 5 months. Admittedly, I've been still putting him in some 3 months clothes, and it was definitely time for the switch. Luckily many of our friends and family were very generous, and I had a bin of clothes in the attic, clean and ready to go. It must be nice to have a completely new wardrobe every 3 months! I also cleaned and packed up all the newborn and 0-3 month clothes. I simply can not believe he was ever that small!
A lot of the clothes we got were from Carters, who has some of the cutest clothes, at least for little boys. The sleepers are so soft and warm and really hold up well to frequent wearings and washings.
Then we went to Sears to pick up the last set of pictures we had taken of our "little guy" and headed to the grocery store. My husband and I used to go out to eat a lot, and luckily our baby is so well behaved, so we still can. But, there's only so much room in the budget, so we're giving this grocery shopping and cooking at home thing a shot!
Then back home, where our little guy napped and then had rice cereal and a bath while Daddy made some dinner.
So that was our day so far, we're one day into the weekend, and have one day to go. Tomorrow we have a birthday party for a friend of our's two year old. It is amazing to think in no time at all, we'll be planning a one year birthday party for our son!
